Hi, I’m Michael Cassar! I’m a 2D Animator and Illustrator.
Since I was young, I have always delighted in telling stories of all kinds, from dramatic tales of heroism to simple slice-of-life stories, and have been nurturing these skills throughout my life, culminating in studying a Bachelor’s Degree in 2D Animation at AIT Melbourne.
I’ve been creating and sharing animations and artwork for several years. Between fanart and requests, I’ve been working on developing a world and characters for my own series of animated shorts that I hope to one day develop into a full animated pilot (and if I’m lucky, a series!).
I have experience working in Toon Boom Harmony and general illustration skills in Clip Studio Paint, including character design and storyboarding, and have extensive experience animating lively and expressive characters to a high standard at a quick pace.
